QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

For our Gebze Plant;

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with the below qualifications.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,

·         Minimum 5 years’ Project Management experience in automotive sector

·         Advanced user of MS Office, AutoCAD, Catia & SAP

·         Fluent in verbal and written English, (German and/or French will be asset)

·         Experience in Robotic process setup & development (especially Forming & Joining Technologies)

·         Experience in Renault APQP, Ford PPAP & Toyota QIS processes and deliverables.

·         Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills,

·         Commercial / Financial awareness

·         Multitasking and ability to perform in multi-functional / multi-national teams,

·         Able to travel abroad

·         No military obligation for male candidates.

Job Description

·         Supports the successful implementation of new projects, engineering and process changes in agreement with customer, to ensure and improve quality, timing & cost

·         Leads respective projects including cost and milestone control 

·         Plans the set-ups and switch-offs of production equipment  

·         Obtains offers for equipment and parts to purchase  

·         Collects and analyses process data by coordinating efforts of production and quality for effective problem solving and process optimization 

·         Provides floor support to troubleshoot process problems using continuous improvement and root cause analysis techniques 

·         Develops, revises and documents manufacturing processes to meet cost, quality, scrap, labour and safety goals 

·         Implements customer product reviews by providing prototypes, tooling and equipment 

·         Enforces and follows safety procedures, being attentive to unsafe behaviours or conditions, and taking necessary corrective actions.
